I believe police chaplaincy is an increasingly important role amidst the pressures and demands placed upon our police services across the nation.
Having been a volunteer chaplain for 8 years based in a local station and in the control room at force headquarters, I have witnessed officers and staff coping with challenging situations and discovered the positive impact an interaction with the chaplain can have.

I am now Lead Chaplain for Leicestershire Police and I know how much I have benefitted from the training, advice and support PCUK have offered.
I would like to be considered for a place on the Board of Trustees . My experience as a school governor for over thirty years and a charity trustee for seven years as well as twelve years as a church pastor and many years in education, as a school teacher, SENDCo, Education Scrutiny Committee member and Deputy Head teacher, qualify me to serve you, as we seek to develop strategy and plan policy to increase the wellbeing of our police service and their families.

I am married with three adult children and two grandchildren.
