Chair

Police Chaplaincy UK is the national body for police chaplains across the UK, both volunteer and employed. We exist to strengthen and support chaplaincy, to promote its professional standing, and to equip our members in their vital work.

I’m delighted you’ve found our website. If you’re exploring what chaplaincy is all about, the Information tab will guide you. If you’re already part of our chaplaincy community, do Login to access resources, guidance, and support.

In a society where faith and belief often feel less visible, chaplaincy continues to grow in importance across many areas of life — and policing is no exception. Today, more than 400 chaplains serve police forces across the UK. Their role is simple but profound: to be a trusted presence, a listening ear, and sometimes a shoulder to lean on for everyone in the policing family — people of all faiths and none.

If we at Police Chaplaincy UK can help you — whether you’re seeking the support of a chaplain or exploring how you might become one — please do get in touch.

Yours

Dom
