Role Overview

As Communications Lead for Police Chaplaincy UK, you’ll shape how we connect with our audiences, raising awareness of our mission and driving engagement. This is a dynamic role where you can unleash your creativity and expertise to make a tangible difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver impactful multi-media communications campaigns to engage supporters, volunteers, and staff.
  • Create, edit, and distribute engaging content across our website, social media, email platforms, and print materials.
  • Maintain consistent branding and act as a brand champion for the organisation.
  • Promote events, initiatives, and campaigns, and identify opportunities to publicise our work.
  • Represent Police Chaplaincy UK at events and other public-facing opportunities.
  • Monitor the impact of communications and produce reports to improve future projects.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience managing social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools like MailChimp, Email Octopus or similar.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail and creativity.
  • A proactive approach to planning and implementing communication strategies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., PowerPoint, SharePoint, Publisher).

Time Commitment

This is a flexible volunteer role, estimated to require 4hrs per week
